Operations HR AdministratorFull-time | 35 hours/week | Start Date: ASAPOur organization—a Not-for-Profit Charity with more than 35 years supporting diverse communities—is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Operations HR Administrator to join our team. This role supports HR, Operations, IT, and Finance and plays a key part in ensuring smooth organizational processes. This is a non-bargaining unit role.About the RoleIn this position, you will coordinate recruitment activities, manage onboarding/offboarding, maintain employee records, support payroll processes, and ensure staff have access to systems and equipment. You will also provide operational support to the Executive Team, assist with reporting, and collaborate closely with internal departments and external partners. The role requires strong technical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport recruitment, HR administration, and compliance with internal policies and the Collective Agreement.Lead onboarding and offboarding processes; maintain HRIS data and employee files.Assist with payroll coordination, timesheet review, and benefits tracking.Provide operational support to the Executive Team, including research, reporting, and project coordination.Coordinate office services, equipment, and IT access; act as a liaison for IT-related issues.Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT teams on cross-functional initiatives.Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements.QualificationsDiploma/degree in HR, Business Administration, Accounting, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).2–3 years of experience in HR, operations, or administrative roles; unionized experience an asset.Strong HRIS, Excel, and data management skills.Basic IT troubleshooting abilities (e.g., hardware, networks, Active Directory preferred).Excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail.Ability to maintain confidentiality and work both independently and collaboratively.Vulnerable Sector Screening within the last 6 months.Must be authorized to work in Canada.What We OfferA competitive compensation package, a collaborative and supportive work environment, and opportunities for professional growth and development.Salary: $55,000 - $60,000 with benefits after 3 months
