With a strong focus on operational excellence, safety, and customer value, the company continues to deliver high-quality solutions to the mining sector across the region.They are now seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Lead to steer the organization towards growth and success.Role OverviewThe Business Lead will provide overall strategic direction and leadership to the company, ensuring sustainable growth, operational excellence, and profitability. The role involves managing key relationships with OEM partners, mining clients, and stakeholders while fostering a high-performance culture grounded in safety and integrity.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic LeadershipDevelop and execute the company’s strategic plan in line with Board objectives.Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and expansion markets.Lead high-level negotiations with OEMs and key mining customers.Operational OversightOversee performance across all business units, ensuring efficient supply chain and service delivery.Monitor financial and operational KPIs to ensure profitability and sustainability.Promote operational excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.Financial ManagementDevelop annual budgets, financial forecasts, and capital expenditure plans.Ensure sound financial governance, compliance, and Board reporting.Drive cost efficiency while maintaining quality and service levels.Stakeholder & Relationship ManagementMaintain strong relationships with OEMs, clients, regulators, and investors.Represent the company in industry forums and business associations.Ensure compliance with environmental, social, and governance (ESG) standards.Leadership & CultureBuild and mentor a high-performing executive team.Promote a strong safety culture and ethical business practices.Foster teamwork, accountability, and innovation across the organization.Qualifications & ExperienceEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Mechanical/Mining/Industrial Engineering, or Commerce. An MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is preferred.Experience: 10–15+ years in senior management, ideally within mining supply, OEM distribution, or industrial consumables. Proven success in driving growth, profitability, and stakeholder engagement.Technical Skills: Strong understanding of mining operations, consumable requirements, supply chain management, and financial systems.
