Job Description

Our client is seeking an Operations Manager with 5–10 years of manufacturing leadership experience in the greater Greensboro area. Flexo or rotary printing experience (minimum 5 years) is required. This role oversees two shifts and plays a key part in improving workflow, strengthening compliance, optimizing processes, and ensuring smooth production across a growing heat-transfer manufacturing operation.We are looking for someone who has led in fast-paced, high-mix environments and understands lean manufacturing, quality systems, and ERP-driven operations. The ideal candidate is hands-on, analytical, and comfortable driving change.Key ResponsibilitiesImplement short- and long-term operational goals, plans, and performance objectives.Improve OEE and workflow efficiency using 6S, Lean, and continuous improvement practices.Ensure efficient coordination across order processing, customer service, planning, and production.Analyze departmental budgets to reduce costs and improve profitability.Lead and coach managers/supervisors to elevate team performance.Identify bottlenecks and implement operational solutions.Support compliance initiatives (ISO 9001, Oeko-Tex Standard 100, SEDEX, etc.).Collaborate with global partners and adapt to shifting priorities.Maintain flexibility to adjust schedules based on business needs.Requirements5+ years as an Operations Manager in manufacturing (printing, packaging, RFID, heat-transfer, or related industries required).Flexo or rotary printing experience required (5+ years).Strong knowledge of 6S, Lean, Kaizen, and continuous improvement methodologies.Experience with input/output management and supply chain coordination.Advanced Excel skills and solid understanding of ERP systems (T100 or similar is a plus).Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and adaptable to change.Comfortable working with global teams and partners.
