Penn Tank Lines is looking for an Operations Manager to lead daily operations at our fuel transport terminal in Mechanicsburg, PA. In this hands-on role, you’ll oversee dispatch, driver coordination, load planning, safety, and customer service - ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable deliveries every day. The right candidate will value teamwork, attention to detail, and consistent communication with drivers, customers, and colleagues.Responsibilities• Lead daily dispatching and scheduling for on-time fuel deliveries• Monitor performance metrics and address issues proactively• Support safety programs and ensure DOT/OSHA compliance• Provide leadership and support to dispatchers and drivers• Serve as the point of contact for driver needs, customers, and corporate teams• Resolve service issues and help improve customer satisfaction• Identify operational improvements and support new technology rolloutsQualifications• 3–5 years in transportation/logistics (fuel hauling preferred)• Knowledge of DOT regulations and fuel transport operations• Strong communication, decision-making, and organizational skills• Experience with dispatching/routing systems and Microsoft Office• Safety-focused, calm under pressure, and customer-service mindedGrowth OpportunityThis position is designed as a developmental opportunity for individuals with strong operational and leadership skills who are looking to grow into a terminal management role.
