Job Description

A leading Consultancy is seeking an Operations Manager to join their dynamic team on a 12 month FTC to work closely with senior leadership. The Operations Manager will be hands-on at an operational level, enabling senior leaders to focus on the highest value opportunities.Key Responsibilities will include:Operational Planning and ExecutionSupport senior leadership in tracking and executing strategic prioritiesTranslate strategic goals into clear, actionable plans across business unitsCoordinate preparation and follow-up for key meetings and initiativesBusiness Operations SupportProvide operational support on day-to-day business decisionsIdentify operational challenges and propose practical solutions to improve efficiencyAssist with resource planning and team coordination, collaborating with HR where resource challenges existIdentify opportunities for process improvements and deliver implementation plansPerformance Management & ReportingCollaborate with finance and other departments to prepare regular performance reportsIdentify and monitor operational metrics and business performance indicatorsTrack project progress against timelines, budgets, and key milestonesMaintain operational standards and best practicesProject CoordinationCoordinate cross-functional projects and initiativesSupport change management activities for business improvementsFollow up on action items and deliverables to ensure accountabilityAssist with implementation of operational changesCommunication & CoordinationFacilitate communication between teams and business unitsPrepare presentations, reports, and business updates as neededBuild effective working relationships across departments to support collaborationSkills and ExperienceExperience in operations management, practice management, project management, or business operations rolesStrong organisational and project management skillsGood business understanding with ability to support strategy executionEffective communication and stakeholder engagement abilitiesAnalytical mindset with problem-solving capabilitiesAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing prioritiesEqual OpportunitiesAs a responsible business, it is important that we represent the diversity of our people, our clients and our communities.
