This central team oversees areas such as business intelligence, cost management, reporting, billing and regulatory compliance. In addition, through its GSC Capabilities team, they are responsible for enterprise-wide workforce management, location strategy, future skills, and group common services (AI, automation, and other strategic initiatives)..AccountabilitiesPayment OperationEnsure that transactions are executed in compliance with the established procedures/policy & local regulation including documents checking, payment processing on system and investigation.Manage daily payment requests from customer, works with teammates/other functions and customers to ensure that any payment related queries or problems are resolved promptly. Escalates process issues and non-conformance as requiredImpact on the Business/FunctionEnsure the teams deliver in line with its demand statementsPlan and prioritize day to day services across teamsSupport the implementation of change programs as directed by the Line manager, including Global StandardsDevelop and implement Operating Procedures in accordance with the respective Business Services Operating ModelLeadership & TeamworkProvide guidance/ support to team members, manage their performance to meet expected standards and objectives.Support LM for the coaching and development of individual team members and the overall development plans of the teamsContribute to the creation of a supportive work environment driven by HSBC values/code of conduct.Operational Effectiveness & ControlDemonstrate ways to improve service quality and exceed customer’s expectations.Contribute ideas and initiatives which lead to an enhanced relationship with the business partners and customersApply knowledge of relevant operational manuals (including the Ops FIM), anti-money laundering, sanctions and internal procedures/polices and regulatory requirements of the business to ensure suspicious transactions are promptly escalated and to continually evaluate the operational risks inherent in the process.QualificationsBachelor's Degree in any majorMin 2 years of experience in banking is required, especially in payment operationsDemonstrates a strong work ethic, diligence and resilience in order to achieve resultsAble to work independently under own direction and initiative in a time sensitive environmentAbility to prioritize and organize workload, multi-task, adapt quickly to change, and deliver under the pressure of deadlinesStrong interpersonal & communication skillsChange Management/Customer Service MindsetYou’ll achieve more when you join HSBC.http://www.hsbc.com/careersHSBC is committed to building a culture where all employees are valued, respected and opinions count.
