We also have a dedicated private investment team, BAM Elevate, and a standalone equities unit, Corbets Capital.ROLE OVERVIEWWe are seeking for a highly skilled Operations Specialist to join our Physical Power and Gas team based in Aalborg.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESSomeone with 4+ years of physical electricity scheduling experience.Ability to provide expert scheduling input to projects when introducing new locations and products.Work with tech teams to build automated processes and verifications ensuring that we have met all our scheduling requirements.Engage with TSO’s, exchanges and industry forums to ensure that BAM is ready for all regulatory changes impacting our activities.Create clear and concise procedures for all scheduling activities.QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTSBachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or related field).Master’s degree or relevant professional certifications are a plus.Must have knowledge of scheduling systems and requirements for European TSOs, interconnectors and exchanges.Experience in Eastern Europe energy markets will be advantageous.Fluency in English required; additional language skills are an asset.Position based in Aalborg.WHAT WE OFFERCompetitive compensation, inclusive of performance-based bonuses.Comprehensive benefits package.Pathways for professional growth and career development.A dynamic and supportive work environment where innovation and creativity are encouraged.Opportunity to be part of building a great business where your efforts are recognized and valued.Thank you for your interest in Balyasny.
