The purpose of this role is to support the Operations Lead in Sweden to manage safe and efficient operational delivery of aviation fuel activities by implementing and maintaining operational standards, processes and HSSE related aspects within Sweden. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who is keen to develop operational experience in aviation fuel. We are looking for someone who is highly organised, able to deal with large amounts of information and able to prioritise effectively.What you will doSupport implementation and consistent application of operational standards, procedures and local processes across the Sweden network.Coordinate and oversee maintenance activities and airport operational management to ensure operational readiness and regulatory compliance.Organise, maintain and administer Air bp operational documentation and asset records, including testing, maintenance and inspection logs.Drive and support HSSE initiatives, risk reduction and continuous HSSE performance improvements.Support site teams during inspections and audits (JIG, IFQP and Air bp inspections) and ensure corrective actions are captured and closed.Provide cover for the Operations Lead Sweden and North Europe Operations Supervisors during planned and unplanned absences.Collaborate with North Europe colleagues to share best practice and support regional projects and deliverables.What you will deliverConsistent application of operational standards and processes across the Sweden network.Accurate, up-to-date and accessible documentation and asset records.Timely completion of maintenance coordination and inspection follow-ups.Measurable HSSE performance improvements and positive audit/inspection outcomes with corrective actions closed on time.Seamless operational continuity during leadership or supervisory absences.Clear, constructive communication and effective stakeholder engagement with internal and external partners.What you will need to be successfulExperience: Minimum 5 years’ professional experience, preferably with exposure to aviation, fuel or airport operations.Knowledge: Practical understanding of aviation operations, inspection standards and maintenance coordination.Skills: Strong operations management, organisation and inspection/maintenance management skills.Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Swedish.IT: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Personal attributes: Able to manage large volumes of information, prioritise effectively, work under pressure and collaborate across teams.Decision making: Able to operate within the Delegation of Authority register and escalate appropriately.Reporting and working relationshipsReports to: Operations Lead Sweden.Why join us?At bp, we support our people to grow in a diverse and exciting environment.
