This individual will conduct in-depth research on political opponents and key issues, analyze public records and media coverage, and produce memos, reports, and rapid response materials to support campaign strategy. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in political research, communications, or journalism, strong writing skills, and the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable insights under tight deadlines. Familiarity with LexisNexis, campaign finance databases, and media tracking is highly valued.Job Duties:Conduct in-depth research on political opponents and key issues.Analyze public records, news, and voting history for opposition insights.Draft memos, reports, and talking points for campaign strategy.Monitor media coverage and flag key developments in real time.Develop rapid response materials for press, surrogates, and stakeholders.Collaborate with legal, policy, and comms teams on strategic messaging.Requirements:3+ years experience in political research, communications, or journalism.Strong writing skills for memos, reports, and rapid response.Ability to synthesize complex information into clear, compelling narratives.Experience using LexisNexis, campaign finance databases, and media tracking.Knowledge of political campaigns, policy issues, and opposition research.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines..Salary: $75,000-90,000 + benefits
