Black & Grey HR is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Organizational Development Consultant with a deep background in the construction industry. This senior role is critical for advising our client on large-scale organizational restructuring, leadership alignment, and cultural transformation. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thought partner who can diagnose complex organizational issues and architect practical, impactful OD solutions that drive business performance, improve project delivery, and enhance safety and operational excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic OD & Restructuring:Lead complex organizational design and restructuring projects for large construction companies Conduct thorough organizational diagnostics, including stakeholder interviews, workflow analysis, and span-of-control reviews to identify inefficiencies and opportunities.Design future-state organizational models, defining clear roles, responsibilities, and reporting lines that align with business strategy.Talent & Leadership Development:Partner with client HR and senior management to assess leadership capabilities and design succession plans for critical roles, from Project Directors to C-suite.Develop and facilitate leadership workshops and off-sites focused on change management, strategic alignment, and collaborative leadership in a high-stakes environment.Coach senior leaders on leading through transformation and building high-trust teams.Change Management:Develop and implement robust change management strategies for major business initiatives Create communication plans, conduct impact analyses, and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization to ensure smooth adoption of change.Performance & Culture:Advise clients on refining performance management systems to drive accountability and align with project KPIs and strategic goals.Design and guide initiatives to shape organizational culture, focusing on areas critical to construction such as safety, quality, collaboration, and innovation.Client Relationship & Business Development:Serve as a trusted advisor to C-level executives and HR leaders within client organizations.Contribute to business development by identifying opportunities for new work, writing proposals, and showcasing our OD expertise in the construction domain.Qualifications & ExperienceMaster’s degree in Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Business Administration (MBA), or a related field is highly preferred.A minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in Organizational Development, with a significant focus on the construction or engineering sectors.Proven track record of leading at least 2-3 major OD/restructuring projects for large construction companiesDeep expertise in organizational design, change management methodologies, and talent management strategies.Demonstrated experience working directly with C-suite and senior leadership teams.Strong collaboration with HR business partners to implement OD initiatives.
