To support that goal, we are now looking for an OT Senior Specialist who wants to make a difference in our Managed Security Services business unit.The RoleIn this position, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing advanced security architectures for some of the Nordics’ most critical organizations. You will take end-to-end responsibility for hardening and safeguarding complex environments, combining strategic vision with hands-on execution.Your deep understanding of building secure infrastructures (both in theory and practice) will be instrumental in identifying, preventing, and managing sophisticated threats. As a bridge between our detection engineers and solution architects, you will also serve as a vital link to our CTO and Technology organization.Here, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and directly influence the security strategy of both Truesec and our clients.Your Potential BackgroundYou bring over 5 to 10 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a proven track record of preventing breaches and minimizing their impact across entire IT environments. You have also developed security architectures for complex organizations. Practical experience from defense authorities or critical infrastructure is highly advantageous. You possess both theoretical and practical expertise in building and securing environments against today’s and tomorrow’s threats. You excel as a technical leader and mentor, and are comfortable collaborating across disciplines to drive security initiatives forward.Required Skills: Deep technical knowledge, extensive hands-on and strategic experience preventing breaches, including architecture, implementation, and operations. Ability to design and continuously improve security strategies and processes for detection, response, and prevention. Solid experience within network monitoring and understanding network-based detection Strong understanding of OT networks, its components and protocols Strong awareness of the threat landscape, attack techniques (MITRE ATT&CK), vulnerabilities, and countermeasures in both IT and OT environments. Ability to work closely with other experts and communicate complex solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Demonstrated experience leading and executing high-quality, confidential security projects. Bonus Skills:Experience working with or within defence organizations or critical infrastructure sectors. Experience and knowledge of IEC62443 Certifications related to OT cyber security (GICSP, GRID, SECOT) Experience of Microsoft Security Suite Practical threat hunting and incident response expertise. Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell). In-depth knowledge of Linux, including system processes, logging, and attack vectors. Experience log monitoring and SIEM solutions Familiarity with integrating threat intelligence feeds into detection strategies. Exposure to machine learning and behavioural analytics for advanced detection. Experience from delivering managed services is a plus.
