Job Description

Develop and maintain relationships with overseas agents, ensuring a strong and reliable international network for freight forwarding services. Market company services to global agents and respond to rate requests promptly with competitive offers. Receive shipment requests from agents and follow up on ongoing shipments and communicate status updates to agents, clients, and the operations team Attend virtual meetings and international networking events to build partnerships and stay current with global market trends. Solve issues with international agents efficiently and cost-effectively, providing proactive communication and resolutions. Enter agent and shipment data into the CRM (JIT system), keeping accurate and up-to-date records. Monitor and follow up on payment due dates with agents and update accounting with buy/sell rates. Keep on track with the international market developments and share updates with internal teams to support strategic decisions. Educational & Professional Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Business, International Trade, Logistics, or related field.0–3 years in international logistics or freight forwarding, preferably in overseas/agent handling roles.Required Skills:Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).Strong interpersonal skills for building and maintaining professional international relationships.Proficiency in CRM systems (such as JIT), Excel, and Microsoft Office.Ability to multitask, manage time zones, and work under pressure.Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution capabilities.Analytical thinking for data evaluation and decision-making.Reporting Structure:Reports to: Overseas Team Leader / Overseas Supervisor.No direct supervisory responsibilityWorking Conditions:Office-based with consistent use of email, CRM systems, and online meetings.May involve extended hours to accommodate international time zones.Occasionally participates in international logistics conferences and virtual networking events.
