Job Title: CEO / General Manager – Packaging Industry (Egypt & KSA)Job SummaryThe CEO/GM will lead the overall strategy, operations, and growth of a packaging manufacturing company in Egypt or Saudi Arabia. This role requires strong leadership, deep industry knowledge, and the ability to drive operational excellence, financial performance, and market expansion. The CEO/GM is responsible for building high-performing teams, optimizing production efficiency, strengthening customer relationships, and ensuring compliance with regional and international standards.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership & VisionDevelop and execute the company’s long-term strategic plan in alignment with market trends in Egypt and KSA.Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and market segments in flexible, rigid, or paper packaging.Lead organizational transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.Operational ManagementOversee all manufacturing operations to ensure high efficiency, quality, and safety.Optimize production planning, supply chain, procurement, and maintenance.Ensure compliance with ISO, HACCP, GMP, and industry regulatory standards.Financial & Commercial PerformanceSet annual budgets, forecasts, and financial targets.Drive profitability, cost control, and cash-flow management.Build strong customer relationships and oversee key account negotiations.Lead pricing strategies and monitor market competitiveness.Leadership & People DevelopmentBuild and mentor a high-performing management team across production, sales, finance, and HR.Implement performance metrics (KPIs) and promote a culture of accountability.Strengthen internal communication and employee engagement.Sales, Marketing & Business DevelopmentOversee national and regional sales strategies across Egypt/KSA.Expand the company's presence with major FMCG, food, industrial, and pharmaceutical clients.Support product innovation aligned with customer needs and sustainability trends.Quality, Safety & ComplianceEnsure all processes meet quality assurance standards.Implement and enforce safety protocols and environmental regulations.Lead sustainability initiatives in materials, waste management, and energy efficiency.Stakeholder ManagementReport to shareholders/board on company performance and strategic decisions.Manage external relationships with suppliers, partners, government bodies, and regulatory agencies.Qualifications & RequirementsEducationBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).Experience15–20+ years of experience in the packaging, plastics, printing, or FMCG manufacturing industry.Proven track record in senior leadership (GM/CEO/Operations Director).Strong understanding of packaging technologies: flexible packaging, rigid plastics, corrugated, or paper packaging.Skills & CompetenciesExceptional leadership and team-building capabilities.Strong business acumen and financial management skills.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Ability to manage large-scale operations and multi-site facilities.Deep knowledge of Egypt and/or KSA market dynamics.Strategic thinker with hands-on operational approach.Personal AttributesResults-driven and performance-oriented.High integrity and professionalism.Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.Adaptable, resilient, and culturally aware (especially across Egypt & KSA).
