Palantir Data Engineer (Frontend)

We are looking for a dynamic Palantir Data Engineer to join our team in Nicosia. This role offers an opportunity to work on a complex and high-impact Data Transformation project for our insurance client. As part of this project, you will design and implement robust, scalable and data-driven solutions to support critical decision-making processes in the Property & Casualty business domain.You will collaborate with a global team, leveraging cutting-edge technologies, including Big Data and Machine Learning, to solve emerging challenges in the insurance industry. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to large-scale projects and advance your expertise in data engineering while working on innovative business use cases.We offer an on-site work model with work at EPAM’s Nicosia office. ResponsibilitiesDesign and build robust and scalable data-driven applications and solutions to support decision-making across the Property & Casualty domain Solve complex big data analytics problems using state-of-the-art technologies within a collaborative team environment Translate business requirements into technical solutions with a user-focused mindset and storytelling with data Leverage Palantir Foundry to implement solutions and drive Data Analytics and Visualization projects Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams using Agile/Scrum development methodologies Effectively communicate technical concepts and solutions to non-technical stakeholders and team members Continuously improve coding standards and contribute to the technical development of the team  RequirementsBachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Data Science or a related discipline At least 2 years of work experience in data and technology fields Solid experience in building data-driven applications with a user-focused mindset and visual storytelling with data Expertise in Data Analytics and Visualization techniques Proficiency in modern programming languages, such as Python or TypeScript Good understanding of SQL and relational database concepts Experience with Palantir Foundry is a must Familiarity with Scrum and other Agile development approaches Strong communication skills in English with the ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Gradle is a plus Knowledge of the Insurance Domain, Financial Industry or finance-related functions in other industries is a strong advantage  Nice to haveKnowledge of Microsoft Power BI or Tableau Skills in PySpark or distributed data processing frameworks Experience with Machine Learning or Generative AI models  We offerPrivate healthcare insuranceGlobal travel medical and accident insuranceRegular performance assessmentsReferral bonusesFamily friendly initiativesLearning and development opportunities including in-house training and coaching, professional certifications, over 22,000 courses on LinkedIn Learning Solutions and much more*All benefits and perks are subject to certain eligibility requirements
