🚨 We’re Hiring! Full-Time On-Site Paralegal / Law Office Assistant – Kingston,       Jamaica 🚨 Deadline to Apply: Friday, November 28, 2025🚨 Expected Start Date: December 8, 2025McLeod Workforce Solutions is urgently recruiting on behalf of one of our reputable Kingston-based client law firms. We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Litigation Paralegal / Law Office Assistant to provide direct support to the two Partners and play a critical role in the firm’s legal and administrative operations. Key Responsibilities – Litigation Support• Conduct thorough legal research using platforms such as LexisNexis and law libraries.• Draft, review, and prepare legal documents including pleadings, affidavits, contracts, and    correspondence.• Assist attorneys with case preparation by organizing, indexing, and maintaining case files,      exhibits, bundles, and evidence.• Manage the discovery process.• Coordinate and schedule court filings, hearings, conferences, and mediation.• Monitor litigation calendars, track deadlines, and ensure compliance with court rules and      procedures.• Liaise professionally with clients, witnesses, expert consultants, and opposing counsel.General Administrative & Office Support• Open and close the office daily, ensuring all equipment, utilities, and workspaces are       functioning correctly.• Maintain inventory of office supplies and coordinate reorders and deliveries as needed.• Provide administrative support such as answering calls, managing, and coordinating    internal communications.·  Assist with client billing, collection, and general expense management.Qualifications• Associates in Business Administration, Paralegal Studies, or a related field.• Certification from an accredited paralegal program (preferred).• A minimum of one year of hands-on litigation experience.• Strong knowledge of legal terminology, civil procedure, and court documentation    standards.• Proficiency with research tools (LexisNexis).• Experience with legal case management software; Clio preferred.• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.• Excellent organizational abilities with strong attention to detail.• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.💼 Compensation: We offer a competitive remuneration package commensurate with experience.How to ApplyIf you meet the qualifications and are available to start by December 8, 2025, please submit your resume and cover letter as soon as possible to:sheryl@mcleodwfs.com with Subject Line: ParalegalWe'd like to thank all applicants for their interest; however, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for the next steps in the selection process.
