Parent NavigatorGuide Parents with Care. Empower Families.Manatee is a family-first, virtual clinic providing child, family and parent therapy, and tools to empower modern families. As our Parent Navigator, you'll take the lead in guiding families through their mental health journey, providing personalized support, and connecting them to the right resources - making a direct impact on children and families across the US.About the Role:This is a family-focused position where you'll serve as a trusted guide and advocate for families navigating their child's mental health needs. You'll provide individualized support, conduct regular check-ins, and help families access both internal Manatee resources and external community services. You are the bridge between families and the care they need, ensuring they feel supported every step of the way. This is a part-time (~20hr/week) contract to hire position.What You'll Do:Guide Family Journeys: Conduct meaningful 30-minute consultations and monthly check-ins to understand family needs, assess progress, and provide ongoing support. Help families navigate available resources and make informed decisions about their care. Connect and Coordinate: Identify the most appropriate level of support for each family, whether that's continued navigation services, clinical care, or external community resources. Facilitate smooth transitions and coordinate care logistics. Empower Through Education: Help families understand and utilize the Manatee app, including self-guided courses, goal-setting tools, and digital resources. Provide guidance on parenting strategies and mental health resources. Build Meaningful Relationships: Develop trust-based relationships with families through empathetic communication, active listening, and consistent follow-through. Be their advocate and champion throughout their Manatee journey. Provide Proactive Support: Offer on-demand support through multiple channels (app messaging, email, SMS) during business hours. Anticipate family needs and reach out proactively to maintain engagement. Champion Family Success: Monitor family progress toward their goals, celebrate achievements, and help overcome barriers to engagement. Ensure families feel seen, heard, and supported at every touchpointAbout You:3+ years of experience in family support, care coordination, case management, or similar rolesDegree in Child Development, Social Work, Psychology, Family Studies/Family Science, Counseling, Early Childhood Education or something similar.
