This role is responsible for promoting and selling air transportation and travel-related services to customers while delivering a high standard of customer service. This position ensures accuracy in fare computations, ticket issuance, and reservation handling to drive revenue and support daily operations.What You'll DoPromote and sell American Airlines, Oneworld and partner air travel services to customers Accurately compute fares and interpret fare rules to address customer inquiriesCreate and manage reservations using QIK Chk and AACoRN systemsIssue tickets for both new and returning customersProvide information and respond to general travel-related inquiriesReconcile auditors’ coupons with payments received and calculate total revenueMonitor daily sales deposits and ensure compliance with audit requirementsMaintain ticket stock, manage office supply inventory, and collaborate effectively with diverse teams to support a positive work environmentAll you'll need for successMinimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job ExperienceCompletion of secondary school or equivalent education levelPrevious experience in a customer-facing or sales-focused rolePreferred Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience1+ years’ experience in a customer-facing role within travel, tourism, or transportationExperience within the airline industrySkills, Licenses, And CertificationsStrong sales and upselling abilitiesClear and professional communicationEffective customer issue resolutionFlexibility with shifts and schedulesQuick to learn airline systems and toolsWhat You'll GetFeel free to take advantage of all that American Airlines has to offer:Travel Perks: Ready to explore the world?
