Lakeshore Talent has partnered with a food services company in Denver to fill a part time paralegal role.Part-Time ParalegalContractLength: 3 months to start, with the possibility of extension or potential for permanent placement based on performance and business needs.Location: Preference for candidates located in Colorado. Hybrid work environment available.Schedule: 20 hours per week, with the possibility of up to 25 hours per week.Pay Rate: $38.00 – $42.00 per hourReports To: Corporate CounselPosition SummaryThe Part-Time Paralegal provides key legal and administrative support to the corporate legal team in the areas of real estate, franchising, corporate governance, and general legal operations. This role partners closely with attorneys, senior paralegals, and cross-functional departments to ensure the accurate preparation, review, and management of legal documents and records.The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and skilled at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.Key ResponsibilitiesReal EstatePrepare lease amendments using company standard forms or landlord-provided templates.Coordinate document execution and filing for real estate transactions.Maintain accurate electronic records of lease agreements and related documentation.Franchising & LicensingAssist in preparing and updating Franchise Disclosure Documents (FDDs) in coordination with internal teams and external counsel.Draft franchise and license agreements, amendments, default notices, and termination letters.Provide general contract support, ensuring accurate version control and timely routing for review and execution.Track and maintain agreement files and renewal calendars.Corporate Governance & Legal AdministrationReview and provide comments on board meeting minutes and other governance documents.File and organize all legal documents within the department’s electronic database, maintaining accuracy and proper indexing.Support invoice tracking, vendor setup, and budget coordination within the legal department.Assist with various administrative and project-based assignments as needed.Required QualificationsAssociate’s degree or Paralegal Certificate required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.3–5 years of paralegal experience in a corporate or law firm environment, preferably with exposure to real estate and/or franchise law.Working knowledge of lease documents, contracts, and legal document formatting.Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and document management systems.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.Familiarity with franchise law, FDDs, and corporate governance practices is a plus.Work Environment & SchedulePart-time position (approximately 20–25 hours per week; schedule to be determined).Hybrid or remote work flexibility as business needs allow.Occasional additional hours may be required during key filing or disclosure periods.Interview & OnboardingTwo interviews (virtual or hybrid).Background check required.No drug screening.
