Part Time Payroll Specialist

Role: Part-Time Payroll SpecialistType: 6 month contract (15 hours per week)Location: Remote across Toronto, ONRate: $25-$28/hrJOB DESCRIPTIONInsight Global is looking for a part-time Payroll Specialist to join a leading insurance company. We are looking for someone who to manage end-to-end payroll processing. In addition to running employee's payroll, the successful candidate will also maintain compliance with federal and provincial regulations. This role will be roughly 15 hours/week, with a possible need for more hours to support year end tasks. This role is remote, however there is an expectation to be onsite during the training period.REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE3+ years of experience in payroll processing Diploma or certification in Payroll Administration or Accounting PCP certification (or working towards it) Strong knowledge of Canadian Payroll legislations and CRA requirements Has processed payroll in ON, AB and BC Has experience with year end payroll
