Job Description And Position RequirementsDr Krish Sathian’s lab at Penn State College of Medicine is offering a Part-Time Research Support position to help carry out a research project in synesthesia at the University Park campus in State College, PA. The successful candidate will be responsible for:Recruiting, screening, and scheduling participants Maintaining the participant database Collecting and recording data in accordance with research objectives, and monitoring data quality Monitoring the safety and confidentiality of the project and its participants Assisting in preparing manuscripts and abstracts for publicationAssisting the Principal Investigator with Institutional Review Board requirements as necessary Preferred Education and Experience:Knowledge of synesthesia and some prior research experience are required; experience with the MRI environment.BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCESCAMPUS SECURITY CRIME STATISTICSPursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR).
