About the Job Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a Pastry Chef at Quince Restaurant & Café, located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Pastry Chef will be responsible for creating and executing a variety of high-quality desserts, pastries, and baked goods. Daily tasks include preparing and plating desserts, developing new recipes, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation, managing the pastry section of the kitchen, and collaborating with the kitchen team to maintain smooth operations. Additionally, the role involves maintaining strict hygiene and safety standards, monitoring ingredient quality, and ensuring an exceptional dining experience for all guests.Qualifications2–5 years of proven experience as a Pastry Chef, Baker, or in a similar role in a high-volume restaurant or hotel settingExpertise in creating pastries, desserts, breads, and confectionsStrong creativity and attention to detail in presentation and flavor combinationsKnowledge of health, safety, and hygiene regulations in food preparationAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environmentStrong organizational, time-management, and leadership skillsCulinary degree or diploma in Pastry Arts or related field preferredFamiliarity with inventory management and ordering supplies is a plusNote: Only applications submitted through LinkedIn will be considered
