The Pastry Sous Chef will assist in the preparation and presentation of high-quality pastries, baked goods, and desserts. Responsibilities include helping to manage daily operations in the pastry kitchen, ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety standards, supporting the Head Pastry Chef, and working collaboratively with the culinary team. The role requires creativity to develop and execute innovative pastry concepts while maintaining consistency and excellence in flavor and presentation.QualificationsProficiency in Bakery and Baking techniques, with hands-on experience in creating high-quality pastry productsStrong Creativity Skills to design and innovate new pastry and dessert optionsKnowledge and practice of Hygiene standards and food safety procedures in kitchen environmentsCooking skills with the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced culinary settingStrong organizational skills and attention to detailExperience as a Pastry Sous Chef or in a similar role is preferredCulinary degree or equivalent certification is an advantageAbility to work well in a team and under pressure
