The company seeks a talented and aspiring candidate who would join our team and meaningfully contribute to reach the goal of SMC. The incumbent will be recruited as part time basis initially for a one year period, which may be extended upon satisfactory performance.Department/Division: ProgramNo. of Vacancies: 1Job Responsibility: The Pathologist is responsible for the overall management of laboratory services at the SMC Diagnostic & Consultation Centre. The Pathologist shall properly operate laboratory equipment to examine samples and perform tests for accurate analysis of bodily fluids and tissue specimens. Ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results generated by the laboratories of the SMC Diagnostic & Consultation Centre. Diagnose diseases based on findings obtained through laboratory tests and analysis. Use electronic medical record software and prepare comprehensive pathology reports detailing the specimens tested, test results, and final diagnoses. Conduct training, orientation, and on-the-job training sessions on laboratory quality management for laboratory technicians, following established standard operating procedures. Perform day-shift duty for three hours daily, six days a week (except Friday), from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm at SMC Diagnostic & Consultation Centre, Mohammadpur, and from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm at SMC Diagnostic & Consultation Centre, Darussalam, DhakaEducational Qualification : MBBS with Diploma in Clinical Pathology from a recognized Institution and with a valid updated BMDC registration (Consultants who are currently in service can also apply). At least 3 years’ experience in providing pathological services in private hospitals or clinics. Have proven working experience as a Pathologist. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
