We offer an excellent comprehensive benefits package, a supportive and collaborative work environment, and endless growth opportunities.We are actively hiring a Patient Recruitment Specialist to support our Flourish Research site in Winter Park, FL!The Patient Recruitment Specialist assists Clinical Research Coordinators and Investigators in the recruitment of study participants for Phase I, II, III, and IV clinical research trials in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), FDA and GCP guidelines, and study protocols.Shift: Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 4:30 PMCompensation: Hourly rate based on experienceBenefits: Health, dental, and vision insurance plans, 401k with 4% match, tuition reimbursement, parental leave, referral program, employee assistance program, life insurance, disability insurance, and 15 days of PTO + 10 company holidays.ResponsibilitiesPossess a comprehensive understanding of all active study protocolsDaily recruitment activities for all assigned enrolling protocolsCall potential study participants and conduct thorough phone screeningSchedule interested study participants on a daily visit calendarReview the research database to identify potential study subjects for multiple Phase 1-4 FDA-regulated clinical trialsEnter pertinent medical history and demographic information from potential study participants into a computerized databaseRequest medical reports from General Practitioners as neededCommunicate with community physicians/staff and answer questions about study protocolsAssist with the general maintenance of the databaseProvide administrative support as assignedPrepare and mail any recruitment materials to community and physician officesPerform other duties as assignedSkillsImpeccable organizational skills and attention to detailExceptional professionalismCommitment to excellence and quality patient careExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with Clinicians and the research teamEthical compass that compels the candidate to be honest, detail-oriented, and self-drivenHigh-level critical thinking skillsProficiency with computers and Microsoft Office SuiteComfortable in a fast-paced, productive, and high-performing environmentQualificationsMedical work experience, preferably with phone-based patient/customer service experienceCall center work experience is a plusProficient knowledge of medical terminologyExcellent oral and written communication skillsA clear understanding of GCP regulatory requirementsPrevious experience with electronic medical records is preferredFlourish Research offers an excellent comprehensive benefits package, a supportive and collaborative work environment, and endless growth opportunities.
