Under the supervision of the Payroll Manager, the Payroll Analyst is responsible for accurate and timely payroll processing within the organization. This position requires working closely with internal teams and employees to ensure compliance with federal regulations, multi-state rules, and tax laws. The analyst performs payroll analysis and validations, consolidates data from different sources, and creates innovative solutions to improve payroll processes. A genuine enthusiasm for payroll and a dedication to enhancing efficiency and precision are crucial for excelling in this role.All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:PAYROLL ADMINISTRATIONExecute the complete payroll process from start to finish for the North America biweekly pay group, managing multi-state payroll for over 3,700 salaried and hourly employees. Address payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries related to payroll matters. Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local payroll regulations. Prepare payroll reports and conduct analyses for management review. Assist in maintaining accurate documentation and record-keeping for all processed payrolls. Audit the inclusion of non-discretionary bonuses and commissions in the regular rate of pay for accurate overtime calculations. Support internal and external audits by providing necessary payroll documentation and clarifications. Create files to import monthly and quarterly bonuses and commissions into the payroll system.TIME AND ATTENDANCE, PAYROLL, AND HRISDevelop customized reports and queries, as well as conduct audits to ensure data accuracy and integrity. Prepare and maintain accurate payroll records. Ensure all timesheet records are completed and approved prior to finalizing payroll processes. Conduct system upgrade testing and provide support for payroll system implementations.Additional DutiesProvide assistance with quarterly and year-end audits to ensure the accurate preparation and issuance of W-2 forms. Track payroll-related trends, regulatory updates, and tax changes in collaboration with the Payroll Tax Manager.Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:5+ years of experience in processing multi-state payroll.Proficient in using Ceridian Dayforce.Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Skilled in MS Excel, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and functions.Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.Comprehensive understanding of payroll laws and regulations.Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate across all levels of management and diverse departments.Bachelor's degree preferred.Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) preferred.This position is open to U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or individuals who are currently authorized to work in the United States on a valid visa.The base salary range for this position is $68,000 - $102,000 + cash incentives. Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience.
