Here’s a Summary Of The RoleThe Payroll Specialist is responsible for overseeing the payroll process for several European countries. This role requires strong understanding of payroll, previous experience in handling European markets payroll, good understanding of payroll accounting and the ability to work across geographies.Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll do (not all of it, just the important stuff):Ensure the data shared from Workday to the payroll providers, through integration, is accurate and provided timely, in line with the payroll cut offs.Review the calculation of employees Gross to Net Pay, including but not limited to variance analysis interpretation and raising any queries with the relevant stakeholders (payroll providers, HP Ops)Managing employee’s queries, ensuring they are handled within the agreed timelines (Jira ticketing system)Partner closely with HR, Finance, External Stakeholders.Ensure accurate financial reporting by overseeing the preparation of payroll-related financial reportsServe as the primary point of contact for internal and external auditors for all payroll-related audits, for the scope of markets.Process Improvement & Optimization by continuously evaluate revenue processes to identify areas for automation and efficiency gains.These are the essentials you’ll need to get an interview:3-5 years of experience in PayrollDeep knowledge of local payroll rules, with experience managing payroll for European countries such as Germany, Italy, Austria, Netherlands, Belgium, Poland and Romania.Working knowledge of Workday system.Good command of excel and fluent in English; any other language is a plus (German, Italian, etc)Why join YouGov?Join our global team to help us achieve our social mission: to make millions of people’s opinions heard for the benefit of our local, national, and international communities.Understanding diversity of opinion requires diversity of background.
