Employee Fixed Term Contract / Full Time As the Principal Process Engineer, you willBe a citizen of AzerbaijanBe technically competent in own discipline and actively maintains own competence according to standards and pursues continuous professional development. Have extensive experience within Offshore Oil & Gas EPC engineering environmentHave extensive experience in Offshore brownfield modifications engineeringHave knowledge of, and compliance with, client, industry and international specifications and standards. Assurance that personnel under the Principal Engineer’s control comply with relevant documents. Direct and supervise Engineers and Designers, ensuring technical content and quality of work produced.

Direct Engineers and Designers with frequent liaison to ensure coordination between engineering and design personnel. Generate, Check and Approve all Process Engineering deliverables (P&IDs, PFDs Safety Device Calculations, Equipment Sizing and Hydraulic Calculations, Datasheets, Line Lists, Cause & Effects, Heat & Mass Balance, Process Safety Time calculation, Alarm & Trip, Control & Operating Philosophies)Identify of scope of work required to undertake a project / job. Estimation of deliverables, manpower and time required to execute the scope of work. Input to project plans and schedules.

Immediate identification to Project Manager/Engineer & Lead Engineer of any issue that has the potential to cause change or growth to any area of the project or study, in comparison to the original design intent / deliverables required. Production of cost effective engineering solutions that are fit for purpose, safe and add value to both PD&MS and the Client. Motivation of discipline personnel to do similarly. Ensuring operational and maintenance issues are addressed in the design. Seeking input from operations and maintenance personnel and, if beneficial, carrying out presentations to site personnel of changes to their installation.

Monitoring progress of work and achieving completion within the agreed schedule and budget. Reporting progress as per PD&MS systems and procedures. Forward planning of resources and timely identification of changes to resource requirements to the Lead Engineer &/or Department Head. Production, checking & approval of documents and engineering design deliverables created by own discipline. Review of documents circulated by other disciplines for IDC or comment. Review of Supplier / Vendor documents. Communication with other disciplines on design and engineering issues. Checking & Approval of requisitions for purchase of engineered items and services.

Identification of increase or reduction in scope of work and raising the necessary support documents for project control purposes. Attendance at meetings called by Project Manager / Engineer, e. g. kick-off meeting, progress meeting. Attendance at Design Reviews, HAZOPs, Constructability Assessments etc. Ensuring Discipline Engineers follow discipline procedures for document control and use and retention of check prints/IDC comments prints. Ensuring close-out of completed jobs in a timely manner. Representation of PD&MS with Clients, Suppliers / Vendors and Certifying Authorities in a professional manner.

Remain up to date with technical developments, client, national and international standards and legislative requirements related to the position. Ensure compliance with applicable Industry Codes and Standards, HSE Alerts, Statutory Instruments, Client and PD&MS Specifications and Legislative Requirements and establishing order of precedence on a project-by-project basis. Ensure all supervised personnel are aware of continuous improvement issues of new technology. Responsible for ensuring professional development is maintained and identified competency requirements are undertaken in a timely manner.

Performance of discipline engineering tasks and co-ordination of other discipline engineering tasks and activities, in accordance with Company QA, HS & E policies. Compliance with quality assurance, health and safety and environmental policies. Demonstrate and promote PD&MS QHSE principles and lead by example.
