Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Procurement Manager to lead and manage all procurement activities for our high-rise building projects. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 8 years of hands-on procurement experience in the construction industry, with a strong understanding of sourcing, vendor management, cost control, and materials planning for high-rise residential and commercial developments. Key Responsibilities: Procurement Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with project timelines and budgets. Plan and manage procurement for materials, equipment, and subcontracted services specific to high-rise construction. Vendor & Supplier Management:

Identify, evaluate, and onboard qualified vendors and suppliers. Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules while maintaining quality standards. Establish long-term supplier relationships and performance monitoring systems. Cost Control & Budgeting: Analyze market trends to forecast material costs and availability. Work closely with the cost estimation and finance teams to ensure procurement within project budgets. Identify cost-saving opportunities through value engineering and strategic sourcing. Contract Management: Prepare, review, and manage contracts, purchase orders, and service level agreements (SLAs). Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company procurement policies. Project Coordination:

Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, architects, and consultants to align procurement schedules with construction activities. Monitor material delivery schedules to prevent project delays. Risk Management: Identify procurement risks related to materials availability, price volatility, and logistics. Develop contingency plans and alternative sourcing options. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field (MBA in Supply Chain or Project Management is a plus). Minimum 8 years of procurement experience in the construction industry, with a strong focus on high-rise buildings. Deep knowledge of construction materials, specifications, and vendor ecosystems.

Proven negotiation skills and experience in managing large-scale vendor contracts. Familiarity with ERP systems (e. g. , SAP, Oracle) and procurement software. Strong communication, leadership, and decision-making skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
