We promote a culture built on integrity, trust and collaboration — where every team member can contribute to our success.Description:A bit about the role: As the People & Culture Advisor, you’ll provide day-to-day HR support and advice to managers and staff, helping ensure best practice people management across the site. You’ll take ownership of end-to-end recruitment, workforce planning, HR data management, injury management and employee lifecycle processes — supporting BFG’s mission to build an engaged, capable and resilient workforce.In this permanent, full-time onsite role at Burleigh Heads, you'll join our wider People and Culture team and report to our experienced People & Culture Lead.Here's a taste of what you'll be up to:  Provide generalist HR advice and operational support to managers, supervisors and staff.Manage end-to-end recruitment and workforce planning, ensuring a positive candidate experience and contributing to long-term staffing strategies.Support employee relations and performance management, including disciplinary procedures, probation reviews and performance check-ins.Liaise with Payroll to ensure accurate and timely processing of pay and entitlements.Prepare and maintain HR data, reports and employee records to support compliance and decision-making.Coordinate injury management and return-to-work programs in collaboration with managers and external stakeholders.Drive continuous improvement of HR systems, processes and workplace culture, fostering safety, inclusion and alignment with BFG’s mission and values.Bindaree Benefits:Competitive Industry Salary Ongoing training and professional development opportunitiesFree onsite parkingDiscounted quality meat products, purchased onsiteDiscounts across health insurance and retail providersSalary packagingCareer growth opportunities within a supportive and collaborative environmentPaid parental leaveSkills and Experiences:About you: Certificate IV or Diploma in Human Resources (or relevant experience in a similar HR role).Experience with HR systems and data management (ELMO experience highly regarded).Strong communication, relationship-building and influencing skills across all levels of an organisation with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).Committed to fostering a positive workplace culture through sound judgement and collaborative practices.Applications will be assessed as they are submitted so don’t wait until the closing date - apply now!
