Job Description

As the URUS Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) People Operations Specialist, you will support the EMEA Strategic People Partner in guiding and supporting multiple URUS companies across the region during a period of significant organizational transition. Following this, the role requires hands-on operational execution, and effective collaboration across diverse markets. You will be based out of our Feerwerd, Netherlands office and support managers and employees across predominantly retail markets (Benelux, Germany, Poland, UK, Italy, and several developing markets), with additional support for EMEA wholesale teams as needed. You will partner closely with the EMEA Strategic People Partner, regional People contacts and the global URUS People team to align and execute operational People priorities. ResponsibilitiesPeople Partnering & Support Provides ongoing People guidance on operational topics to maintain employee relations, supports strategic initiatives with handson problem solving and execution. Works closely with the global People team to leverage centralized expertise. Partners with local People and Finance contacts in each country who perform local peoplerelated responsibilities. Supports harmonization efforts across EMEA, including payroll processes, performance cycle consistency, and improved data accuracy in People systems. Policy, Compliance & Employee Standards Provides guidance on People processes, ensuring consistent interpretation and application across markets. Assess current state and guide updates for each retail country to ensure employee handbooks are current and aligned with the URUS global corporate manual and code of conduct. Monitors and evaluates mandatory workplace standards training programs together with the global People team, ensuring objectives are achieved within the region. Ensures consistent application of People processes across markets, including payroll coordination and data accuracy. People Systems & Data Management Ensures accurate use and maintenance of global and local People systems (HRIS, LMS) in collaboration with the global People team, with a strong focus on data quality. Coordinates with regional People contacts to ensure precise and timely data entry and reporting. Supports the strategic People Partner in reporting for the URUS SVP People and the URUS People Management team using tools such as PowerBI. RequirementsA minimum of 5 years in a similar, international, role. Strong written and oral proficiency in English; ability to communicate in Dutch is required. Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship building abilities. High attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities. Proven time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient with HRIS, payroll systems, LMS platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite is preferred. Availability: three days per week + at least one day per week working from our Feerwerd office. Ability to travel within EMEA occasionally.
