$68K-$74K p.a + Health InsuranceFixed-term opportunity + Central Nelson locationSupport at the highest level of Council leadershipNelson City Council is seeking a highly organised and professional Personal Assistant to the Chief Executive to provide exceptional administrative and personal support to the Chief Executive.This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the Chief Executive's schedule and office functions. Working at the heart of an organisation under the direction of the Chief of Staff, you will contribute to the effective management of the Council's most senior executive office through high-quality coordination, discretion, and professionalism. About the role | Kō tēnei tūranga mahiAs the Personal Assistant to the Chief Executive, you will play a key role in supporting the daily operations and strategic priorities of the Chief Executive's Office, supporting the Council embed its new ways of working.Your responsibilities will include:Proactive diary and meeting management, ensuring alignment with organisational prioritiesPreparing and formatting meeting papers, briefing material, and correspondenceCoordinating travel arrangements and logistical requirements for meetings and eventsManaging communication with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the Chief ExecutiveProcessing purchase orders, credit card reconciliations, and other financial administration tasksMaintaining accurate records and correspondence in accordance with Council policiesProviding administrative support to the Chief of Staff and wider office as required About you | Ko ngā pūmanawa ūYou will be an experienced administrative professional who demonstrates a high level of integrity, judgement, and discretion.
