PHP Team Lead/ Architect

Your responsibilities will include:  Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using PHP 8+ and Laravel or Symfony frameworks. Architect and implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs, ensuring clean and well-documented interfaces. Optimize database schemas and queries for performance, reliability, and scalability. Build and maintain robust frontend components using Vue.js, JavaScript (ES6+), and modern styling tools (TailwindCSS, SCSS). Ensure smooth build and deployment pipelines through Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD integration. Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to deliver high-quality, maintainable code. Review code, mentor junior developers, and uphold best practices in software architecture and security. Participate in technical planning and help shape engineering decisions that support the product’s long-term vision.  Your profile:  Proven experience with PHP 8+ and modern frameworks (Laravel or Symfony). Strong grasp of API design (REST / GraphQL), authentication, and data serialization. Deep knowledge of SQL databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL), including schema design and query optimization. Experience implementing caching layers, job queues, and asynchronous processing. Solid understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), Vue.js, and component-based architecture. Comfortable working with TailwindCSS, SCSS, and modern build tools (Webpack, Vite). Experience with Docker and containerized environments (Kubernetes is a plus). Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment best practices. Proficient with Git (branching strategies, pull requests, code reviews).  Soft Skills Ownership mindset: proactive in identifying improvements and delivering results. Proven ability to lead, mentor, and manage technical teams.Excellent communication and collaboration within cross-functional teams. Passion for clean, well-tested, and maintainable code. Strong problem-solving and debugging abilities. Good English is required, good German level would be a plus.  We offer: Challenging projects with modern technologies. Flexible working hours and home office options. Individual training and development opportunities. A dynamic and supportive team.  Have we piqued your interest?
