The PositionWe are looking a dynamic and motivated Physical Education teacher to join our school, and to deliver high-quality physical education lessons that promote physical literacy, healthy lifestyles, teamwork, and personal development among primary and secondary children (ages 3-15).Key Responsibilities• Plan and teach engaging PE lessons aligned with departmental curriculum standard rubrics.• Foster motor skills, coordination, fitness, and sportsmanship in students as well as sports specific skills.• Provide feedback verbally and on Google classroom and produce reports to parents.• Organise and lead sports clubs, school teams, and inter-school competitions.• Ensure safe use of equipment and adherence to health and safety protocols.• Work with other teachers to integrate physical activity into broader school life and cross-curricular projects. Required Skills & Competencies• An ethos focused on enabling fun and enjoyment in physical education lessons, independent of ability.• An ability to appreciate the importance of developing pupils along a vertical curriculum and the impact of this for each key stage.• Strong knowledge of child development and physical education pedagogy.• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.• Ability to motivate and inspire young learners.• Organisational skills for planning lessons and events.• Strong leadership and team working skills.• Knowledge and use of Google Classroom (preferred)• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfareQualifications & Experience• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or a related field.• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.• A minimum 2 years of experience working within a school environment.
