Physician - Family Practice

The primary care physician provides outpatient care for acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and preventive services, diagnosing and developing treatment plans within scope of practice.They manage approximately 22 patients daily, including walk-ins, and handle afterhours calls by phone.Essential duties include documenting patient history, performing exams, procedures, and patient education, supporting organizational values, and ensuring professional, courteous service.They collaborate with staff, participate in meetings and peer reviews, supervise NP/PAs, and maintain EMR documentation.Qualifications include a medical or osteopathic doctorate, residency in family/internal medicine, licensure, and preferred experience with ambulatory care and medical Spanish.Skills required are strong communication, decision-making, computer proficiency, cultural sensitivity, and leadership abilities.
