Position Overview: Reporting to the Director of Merchandising, the Merchandiser will play a pivotal role in shaping the end-to-end product lifecycle for Pistola and Daze Ready-to-Wear (RTW) collections.

This highly collaborative and strategic role bridges the gap between creative vision and commercial success—owning product strategy from ideation and development through assortment planning, SKU optimization, and final hand-off to the Marketing team. Our ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced, ever-evolving environments, has a keen eye for fashion and trend forecasting, and excels at cross-functional alignment. Success in this role is defined by the ability to balance creativity with business objectives, deliver consumer-right product assortments, and drive overall brand growth through data-informed decision making and strategic planning. What You’ll Do:

Lead the development of seasonal product assortments for Pistola and Daze RTW, ensuring alignment with brand identity, consumer trends, and company-wide financial goalsPartner with the Director of Planning to build detailed seasonal line plans and SKU strategies by delivery window, ensuring optimal depth and breadth across styles, categories, and channelsCollaborate closely with key cross-functional teams including Design, Production, Wholesale, Site Merchandising, and Marketing to ensure seasonal strategies are executed with excellence and in accordance with the product development calendarConduct in-depth competitive market and trend analysis, incorporating insights into the product creation process to inform style, pricing, and SKU mixMonitor and evaluate in-season performance to identify risks, chase opportunities, and make informed recommendations for future line adjustments and strategy shiftsActively identify and define core items, fashion trends, and emerging customer needs to drive product innovation and sustained category growthOwn the go-to-market timeline from a merchandising perspective, ensuring all key milestones are met, including style finalization, merchandising reviews, pricing approvals, and content hand-offBuild and maintain assortment tools, visual line sheets, and sales performance trackers to support cross-functional visibility and strategic decision makingPartner with the Production team to ensure alignment on costing, MOQ constraints, and margin targets, while maintaining speed-to-market efficiencyServe as a product expert and brand advocate, effectively presenting seasonal assortments and strategy to both internal stakeholders and external partners (e.

5+ years of Merchandising experience, preferably in apparelHighly strategic and analytical, with a proven ability to turn data and insights into actionable product strategiesStrong financial and business acumen; comfortable making decisions that balance creative integrity with margin and profitability targetsExceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate vision, influence decision-makers, and present compelling stories around the productAdept at navigating ambiguity and anticipating roadblocks, with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindsetCollaborative team player who thrives in a cross-functional environment, with a natural ability to build trust and foster alignment across departmentsHighly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple projects and timelines without losing sight of the big picturePassionate about fashion, product, and consumer behavior—with a strong pulse on market trends and competitor dynamics
