Job Summary:As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking to expand our operations with a new distribution center to boost product availability and gross merchandise revenue. To support this expansion, we are looking for a dedicated Planning & Distribution professional to join our team.Reporting to the Business Cycle Manager, the Planning & Distribution Specialist will develop accurate demand forecasts, manage inventory across sales channels, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure optimal stock levels and distribution efficiency. This role is critical for supporting our replenishment strategy and ensuring products are available where and when customers need them.Key Responsibilities:Demand Forecasting: Analyze historical sales data, seasonal patterns, promotional activities, and market trends to produce precise demand forecasts across all sales channels.Inventory Management: Work with commercial and logistics teams to maintain optimal inventory levels, minimizing stockouts and overstock situations.Data Analysis & Insights: Utilize Excel, forecasting software, and internal tools to interpret large datasets and provide data‑driven recommendations to management.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, sales, product, and supply chain teams to integrate promotional plans and new product launches into demand planning models.Reporting & Communication: Prepare regular reports on demand, inventory, and supply status, highlighting risks and opportunities for management review.Continuous Process Improvement: Identify gaps in current processes, recommend enhancements, and implement best practices to improve forecasting and supply chain efficiency.Market & Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date on e‑commerce trends, category shifts, supply chain challenges, and changes in customer demand to refine planning approaches.Qualifications:2–3 years of proven experience in demand planning, inventory management, or a related supply chain field—ideally within e‑commerce, logistics, or distribution environments.A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Statistics, or a related discipline is preferred.Strong analytical and quantitative skills with demonstrated experience in data analysis, forecasting, or inventory management.Proficiency with Excel and forecasting tools; experience handling large data sets.Collaborative mindset and effective communication skills for working with cross‑functional teams.Familiarity with e‑commerce operations and supply chain processes is preferred.Ability to work remotely and manage tasks independently while staying aligned with company goals.
