You’ll work closely with engineering, procurement, and construction teams, leading the planning process while ensuring programmes are aligned with contractual requirements and ALEC’s high standards.Your RoleAs Planning Manager – Senior, you will:Review drawings, BOQs, and contract documents to develop and manage robust project programmesEngage with technical teams to define sequence, methodology, and key planning assumptionsAssess risks, conduct workshops, and drive innovative scheduling solutionsSupport 4D planning requirements and integrate digital tools where neededPrepare programme narratives and ensure alignment with ALEC standards and proceduresEstablish activity coding, sequence critical paths, and link milestonesAlign procurement schedules with delivery strategies and subcontractor timelinesMonitor progress, interpret actual performance, and produce forecast and “look ahead” schedulesSupport change management, including mitigation and acceleration strategiesPrepare time impact assessments and support EOT claims and delay analysesLoad and level resource data to develop resource curves and track productivityLead reporting efforts and ensure consistent documentation across planning processesWhat We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree in Engineering or Building (or equivalent)15–18 years’ experience in planning within the building construction industryProven technical and contractual knowledgeAdvanced knowledge of Primavera (P6) and Microsoft Office SuiteDeep understanding of planning principles, critical path method (CPM), and resource loadingStrong ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and communicate progressExcellent verbal and written communication skills with a collaborative approachPreferred SkillsExperience on Theme Parks Leadership and team management experienceStrong interpersonal and decision-making abilitiesHigh level of accountability and integrityUnderstanding of digital planning tools and 4D integrationWhat We OfferOpportunity to lead planning on some of the region’s most iconic projectsA high-performing team and supportive project cultureInnovation-led environment with scope for growth and leadershipFull-time on-site position based in the UAEReady to plan the future of world-class construction?If you’re inspired by this opportunity and believe you’re the right fit, we want to hear from you.Join ALEC Building and drive planning excellence on projects that shape skylines.Apply today and let’s build something exceptional.
