Job PurposeThe Planning Manager will lead the planning and scheduling function for multiple landscape, infrastructure, and civil construction projects. The role ensures effective project planning, monitoring, and reporting to achieve timely and cost-efficient project delivery aligned with client and company objectives.Key Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 and other planning tools.Prepare baseline programs, progress updates, recovery schedules, and time impact analyses.Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to align project milestones and deliverables.Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and propose corrective actions.Prepare and present periodic progress reports, dashboards, and forecasts to management and clients.Review and evaluate subcontractors’ and suppliers’ schedules for alignment with the master plan.Manage resource loading, cost control, and manpower histograms to support project decision-making.Participate in project meetings and support claims or extension-of-time (EOT) submissions with detailed analysis.Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and planning procedures.Mentor and guide junior planning engineers to ensure consistent standards and best practices.Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.Minimum 10 years of planning experience in construction or infrastructure projects, including at least 3 years in a managerial or lead planner role.Industry Preference: Landscape, infrastructure, utilities, or civil engineering projects.Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Excel; knowledge of Power BI is an advantage.Strong understanding of project controls, scheduling methodologies, and earned value management (EVM).Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.Experience in working under EPC or design & build contracts is preferred.
