Qiddiya Investment Company is leading the transformation of Saudi Arabia's entertainment landscape, and we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Director - Infrastructure Planning to guide our infrastructure initiatives. In this integral role, you will oversee the strategic planning and development of infrastructure projects, ensuring that they align with Qiddiya's overarching vision and operational objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine and execute the strategic infrastructure planning framework, ensuring alignment with the master development plan and overall company objectivesLead and mentor a team of planners and engineers to deliver comprehensive infrastructure planning solutions that anticipate future needsEstablish collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, including government entities, community representatives, and external consultants, to ensure effective project executionConduct detailed feasibility studies, risk assessments, and scenario analyses to inform long-term planning decisionsOversee the development of infrastructure models and simulations to gauge impact and performance against projected outcomesRegularly present planning updates, insights, and recommendations to the executive leadership team, ensuring transparency and alignmentMonitor and manage the performance of ongoing planning projects, ensuring they adhere to timelines, budgets, and quality standardsPromote sustainable best practices in infrastructure planning, ensuring environmental considerations are integrated into all projectsRequirementsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related discipline; a Master's degree is strongly preferredA minimum of 20 years of experience in infrastructure planning with a focus on large-scale projects, including significant leadership rolesExpertise in strategic infrastructure planning principles, land use planning, and environmental impact assessmentsDemonstrated ability to lead interdisciplinary teams and manage complex projects effectivelyExceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with attention to detailStrong communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence a diverse range of stakeholdersFamiliarity with planning software and technologies relevant to infrastructure developmentRelevant professional certifications are a significant advantage
