Plant Manager (Footwear / Foam Sole Manufacturing) Newly setup

Location: Long Thanh, VietnamRole OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and dynamic Site Manager/ Plant Manager to lead the setup and ongoing operations of our new manufacturing site in Vietnam. This role will be responsible for overseeing the successful establishment, ramp-up, and day-to-day running of the facility. You will play a critical role in ensuring the site meets all safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets, while fostering a high-performance culture aligned with Zotefoams’ global standards.This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a start-up environment, with the ability to manage construction, commissioning, recruitment, and operational readiness from the ground up.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the site setup from pre-operational phase through to full-scale productionSupport construction and commissioning activities, working closely with contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholdersBuild and lead the local site team, including production, engineering, quality, and administrative functionsEnsure all health, safety and environmental standards are met from day one, embedding a strong safety cultureDevelop and implement local site procedures and systems in alignment with global standardsManage production operations to ensure delivery of high-quality products in line with customer and Group expectationsDrive continuous improvement in processes, cost efficiency, and operational performanceLiaise with Group Operations, Engineering, Finance, HR, and other key functions to ensure alignmentManage budgets, resources, and timelines effectively throughout the setup and operational phasesRepresent the site with local authorities, suppliers, and partnersChampion company values and ensure strong, positive local team cultureRequirementsDegree-qualified in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related disciplineMinimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing or plant operations, with at least 5 years in a site leadership roleProven experience in setting up or managing new manufacturing sites is highly desirableStrong understanding of HSE standards, quality systems, and lean manufacturing principlesExperience in international or multinational environmentsExcellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skillsFluent in English (spoken and written); Vietnamese language skills would be a plusResults-driven, hands-on, and able to lead in a dynamic, start-up phase with limited structure initiallyComfortable working cross-functionally with global teamsWhy Join UsBe a key leader in launching Zotefoams' first manufacturing site in VietnamShape the operational culture and performance of a brand-new facilityWork with a global team in a high-growth, purpose-driven businessCompetitive salary and benefits, with long-term growth and development opportunitiesConsultant: Be Phung - 0326 325 091 (Zalo/WhatsApp)
