You'll need:an understanding of public policy and the machinery of government experience applying a range of policy frameworks and methods to policy issuesthe ability to effectively analyse information, provide context, and shape it into actionable policy insightsgreat oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present complex issues clearly and conciselythe ability to quickly grasp new information and unfamiliar concepts, and adapt well to new situations and changing circumstancesa relevant tertiary qualification and/ or equivalent relevant experience for this role.We understand transferable skills can come from experience gained from outside of work.
