The RoleWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced Portfolio Finance Manager to lead financial reporting and accounting for multiple properties within a growing hospitality portfolio. This role is critical in managing monthly property-level reporting, portfolio-wide financial metrics and reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and cash flow forecasting. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in hospitality and real estate accounting, exceptional analytical skills, and a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.Day in the Life of a Portfolio Finance ManagerPrepare and deliver accurate, timely financial reports for a portfolio of approximately 30 properties, including monthly, annual, and ad hoc statements.Take ownership of the general ledger for the assigned region, ensuring precision, completeness, and compliance in all financial records.Present clear, data-driven financial analyses and reports to both internal stakeholders and external partners.Review and validate financial statements prepared by the centralized accounting team before they are shared with property owners.Conduct variance, trend, and scenario analyses to support strategic business decisions.Lead, coach, and provide guidance to junior accountants located in the U.S. and Mexico.Oversee intercompany reconciliations and ensure timely and accurate payments to property partners.Drive automation initiatives and continuous improvements within financial processes.Build and maintain strong relationships with regional teams, leading regular meetings focused on financial performance and results.Manage cash flow and treasury activities, ensuring accuracy in forecasts and on-time payments.Experience● Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field● 5+ years of property-level accounting experience across multiple properties and/or real estate portfolios in hospitality, real estate, or a related industry● 1+ year managing or mentoring other team members● Strong proficiency in property-level hospitality accounting, cash flow forecasting and portfolio-level roll-up reporting● Strategic thinker with the ability to provide actionable insights for senior management● Proven ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders, including operations and property partners, both written and verbal● Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment● Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets required (e.g. pivot tables, XLOOKUP, etc.)● Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP required● Excellent understanding of financial regulations, GAAP, USALI reporting standards, and compliance requirements● Intellectually curious, highly motivated, and able to maintain efficiency while working independentlyPlus if..● You've worked remotely at some point in your career● You've worked in the hospitality industry at some point in your career● You are proficient in Google Workspace, Slack, and other essential technical skills for remote workers
