Portfolio Finance Trader

Our client is a top-tier, technology-driven hedge fund from China, expanding its global operations. They are known for their advanced, AI-powered trading systems. They have recently set up their international office in Singapore and are now looking for a Portfolio Finance Trader. (Can be based in Hong Kong/ Singapore/ Shanghai/ Shenzhen)This is the first Portfolio Finance Trader role covering offshore business. It is a great opportunity to join a young, energetic team during a key growth phase, offering high ownership and the chance to make an immediate impact.Key Responsibilities:Execute and manage the firm's trading strategies in the offshore environment.Work directly with top-tier Prime Brokers (e.g., Morgan Stanley, Citi, Goldman Sachs) to ensure seamless strategy fulfilment, manage stock loan recalls, and optimize the trading setup.Monitor and manage risk and P&L for the offshore trading book.Collaborate closely with the quantitative research and technology teams in China to implement and refine algorithmic trading models.Proactively identify and solve operational and trading challenges inherent in the offshore structure.Requirements:A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience Proven, hands-on expertise with prime brokerage systems and the complete trade lifecycle in Asian market Familiar with stock loan market, securities lending and equity swaps etc Strong programming skills, with experience in C++, Java, and/or Python for strategy implementation or trading system interaction.A self-starter mentality with the ability to operate autonomously; this is not a training role and requires immediate impact.Energetic, collaborative, and thrives in a fast-paced, flat-structure team environment.Fluent in English; Mandarin language skills are a plus but not mandatory.
