All this is wrapped up with an easy-to-view online data management analysis and reporting software.Purpose Of The RoleThe Portfolio Manager oversees a portfolio of customer assets and investments to maximise value, manage risk and ensure alignment with IMSERVs strategic and financial objectives. This role involves analysing performance, evaluating new investment opportunities and coordinating cross-functionally with teams to ensure consistent portfolio growth and profitability.Main ResponsibilitiesOversee the performance of customer portfolios, analysing and reporting on key metrics to optimise value.Maintain a detailed understanding of energy markets, regulatory changes and emerging technologies affecting the portfolio.Identify underperforming assets and implement improvement strategies.Evaluate new investment opportunities, conducting financial modelling and risk analysis.Support due diligence efforts for acquisitions, partnerships and project development initiatives.Assist in long-term planning and scenario analysis to guide capital allocation decisions.Compliance with regulatory, environmental, and safety standards across all assets.Act as the primary contact for investors, partners and other key stakeholders on portfolio matters.Implementation of cost reduction or performance enhancement initiatives across portfolios.Detailed investment proposals and due diligence documentation for new projects or acquisitions.Market intelligence reports identifying emerging trends, technologies, or regulatory shifts impacting portfolio performance.Person Specification5+ years of experience in portfolio management, asset management, or investment analysis within the energy industry.Strong analytical and financial modelling skills (Excel, Power BI, or equivalent).Proven ability to interpret financial models and performance data to drive strategic decisions.Deep understanding of energy markets, regulations and technologies.Proficient in finance and risk assessment methodologies.Experience with renewable energy (solar, wind, storage) or traditional energy assets (oil & gas, power generation) strongly preferred.Company Benefits28 days annual leave plus Bank HolidaysAnnual leave Buy & Sell schemeEnhanced Salary Sacrifice Pension ContributionsLife Assurance up to 6 X Base Salary*Simply health Healthcare plan (Upgrades available)In Office & Out of Office Social EventsRetailer Discounts PlatformEmployee Assistance ProgramWellbeing CentreCar Salary Sacrifice Scheme*Reward & Recognition(*Length of service & T&Cs apply)Our people are our main asset.
