We’re looking for a passionate Post-Basic Pharmacist Assistant to join our friendly team, someone who values patient care, community connection, and professionalism in every interaction.Requirements Recognised Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant qualificationRegistered with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC)Computer-literate with solid knowledge of the Compharm.Excellent customer interaction and communication skillsAccurate script capturing, claiming, and administration abilitiesAttention to detail when handling patient profiles and scriptsAbility to collaborate with healthcare professionals when requiredStrong numerical and organisational skillsFluent in English and at least one other languageWillingness to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidaysA team player with a proactive and problem-solving attitude Key Responsibilities Engage professionally with customers in-store or telephonically regarding prescriptions and healthcare productsPerform accurate script capturing, processing, and submissionResolve queries related to medication and prescriptions efficientlyMaintain and update patient profiles accuratelySupport the pharmacist and team with operational and administrative duties as required Knowledge & Skills Strong pharmaceutical product and OTC knowledgeExcellent customer service orientationCommitment to ethical practices and pharmacy compliance standards Suitably qualified applicants are invited to submit their application on or before 2 December 2025 to careers@alphapharm.co.za. No Relocation Assistance will apply.
