The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and management of security measures that protect enterprise networks, systems, and data from unauthorized access, cyber threats, and vulnerabilities.This role involves monitoring, maintaining, and enhancing the organization's cybersecurity posture, with a strong focus on network defense, incident response, firewall management, intrusion detection, and endpoint protection. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in both cybersecurity best practices and network infrastructure security, including firewalls, VPNs, and secure protocols.Duties & Responsibilities Design and enforce security policies, procedures, and controls to safeguard digital assets. Manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, and NAC systems across the enterprise network. Monitor systems and network traffic for threats using SIEM, EDR, and threat intelligence platforms. Perform regular vulnerability assessments and coordinate patch management and remediation efforts. Investigate and respond to security incidents, breaches, and alerts in a timely manner. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure system configurations and cloud deployments. Support regulatory compliance initiatives (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, UAE ISR/NESA). Conduct security awareness training and recommend best practices across departments. Document incidents, procedures, and configurations in accordance with internal audit standards. QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field. experience in cybersecurity and network security roles. Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, DNS, and VPN. Experience with firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco), SIEM (e.g., Splunk, QRadar), and endpoint security (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne). Familiarity with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Zero Trust principles is a plus. Industry certifications preferred: CEH, CISSP, CISM, CCNP Security, Fortinet NSE, or equivalent. 3–7 years of experienceAdditional InformationCompliance with policies and procedures based on the ISO standards adopted by CNS.
