This candidate will play an integral role in executing the pricing activities to drive growth and profitability for Husky businesses – not limited to Rigid Packaging Business. Responsible for supporting the development of pricing strategies, implementing effective pricing processes, preparing detailed analysis, identifying trends, measures and controls.Responsibilities:Collaborating with Business Leaders to understand business objectives and select an appropriate pricing strategy to support those goalsImplement targeted pricing actions across segments to proactively maximize profit (Creatively develop competitive advantage through innovative pricing concepts)Develop and execute pricing strategies by product category, geographic region and end-marketUtilize data to develop more effective pricing approaches to achieve price improvement while drive growth and profitabilityAd hoc reporting and analysis as requiredProvide pricing recommendations and participate in strategic and tactical negotiation planning and executionDevelop pricing models, processes and deployment across organizations (Build value/financial models, assist business to make decisions on setting and changing pricing, aligned with the customer value, costing structure and business strategy)Negotiate and influence internally to encourage adoption of pricing structures and strategiesAssess existing pricing processes, streamline and implement standard pricing processes globallyFacilitate approval of all discounts that exceed Sales authorityDevelop and maintain internal controls over the pricing activities to ensure complianceTrack and report pricing trends on a regular basis. Closely monitor competitor pricing activity through sales team and customer feedback as well as business performance indicatorsIdentify requirements for regional pricing variations working with regional sales teams and develop plans accordinglyContinuously review individual pricing elements and pricing portfolio for opportunities to simplify the customer experience and sales presentationImplement process and tools to automate pricing activitiesQualifications:Bachelors equivalent in an Engineering, Finance or other related Business disciplineMinimum 10 years of experience with a minimum 5 years progressive experience in a pricing/sales/sales support, business development or related finance role for a mid-size or global organizationExcellent analytical and creative problem solving skills and the ability to think outside the box (Strategic thinker, Self-Starter and Results Oriented)Excellent business acumenAdvanced Excel skills, PowerPoint and ERP knowledgeProcess and project management skills from development to implementationAbility to lead and work in cross-functional teams, across multiple geographiesAbility to make recommendations in an environment of uncertainty and ambiguityAccustomed to an extremely fast-paced environment, requiring balancing of immediate tactical responses with long term strategic planningAbility to negotiate and influenceStrong interpersonal and excellent oral and written communication skillsKnowledge of Injection Molding and/or Rigid Packaging product is an assetFluent in EnglishAdditional language skills considered an assetHusky TechnologiesTM offers a competitive compensation and benefits package and excellent opportunities for growth and advancement.
