Principal Architect

We’re looking for a PrivX Principal Architect to lead the architecture and technical direction within SSH’s PrivX platform and related secure-access products.As a PrivX Principal Architect, you’ll lead the server-side architecture and backend component design for PrivX. You’ll own the technology roadmap for your area, design component and API interactions, and guide the implementation of scalable, secure solutions. Working hands-on with developers, product managers, and customers, you’ll turn requirements into well-structured, maintainable systems that align with the platform’s overall vision.You will be part of our PrivX suite R&D team focusing on elements like zero configuration between client and server, controlling non-human identities, and the communication model between client and server. PrivX is already a well-established product, but these upcoming expansions give you the opportunity to step in at an early design stage and help lead the design in the desired direction.Your ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain the technical roadmap for your modules and featuresDesign and document architectural principles, API flows, and component hierarchiesParticipate in customer technical discussions and feed insights back into product developmentWrite and review code to guide quality, performance, and best practicesImprove development tools, processes, and standards to enhance efficiency and consistencyCommunicate architectural vision clearly across teams and explain design choices to partners and customers.What We Are Looking ForProven experience in secure access and privileged access management across complex enterprise systems.Strong grasp of microservices, APIs, cloud platforms, and networkingExperience with Go, Python, or C/C++ and modern cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Docker)Hands-on approach with strong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to balance strategic vision with practical, incremental deliveryExcellent communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholdersBuild, lead, and inspire - apply now to shape the future of secure access with SSH.
