This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a highly skilled and motivated team, to lead and contribute to the development of clinical pharmacy services and have an active role in local, regional and national groups. This post will be strategically aligned to the Surgical & Critical Care directorate including Critical Care, Surgical Services, Trauma & Orthopaedics, Theatres & Anaesthetics & Anticoagulant Services. The Principal Pharmacist Clinical Services will promote strong clinical governance links and enable collaborative working with the directorate senior leadership team. The post-holder will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating clinical pharmacy service provision and performance using this evaluation as a basis for improvement and development.For further information on the role please click the link below to view the job descriptionKnowledge, Training And/or Experience Required To Do The JobThe postholder requires to have a Master of Pharmacy degree or equivalent and be registered as a pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council. Applicants must have completed a postgraduate qualification in clinical pharmacy or have completed the RPS Core Advanced Curriculum. The postholder must hold an independent prescribing qualification. Applicants should have leadership, staff management & performance management experience. Applicants should also demonstrate evidence of experience in service delivery & development, and the ability to examine current practice and develop and implement innovative solutions for improvement.For further information on the requirements for the role please click the link below to view the person specificationHours26.25 hours per week working over 7 days.
