Private Equity Strategy Equity Partner

Consulting Point is partnering with a fast-growing global strategy consultancy in China that is expanding its Private Equity practice. The firm is looking to hire experienced Partners in the Healthcare/Life Sciences or Consumer/Retail sectors.This team advises leading private equity funds and portfolio companies across the full investment lifecycle, including commercial due diligence, value creation and growth strategy.The firm has built a strong reputation for delivering high-impact work to private equity investors while maintaining a sustainable consulting model, with a hybrid working structure (typically two days in office and three days remote) and limited client travel.Key requirementsPrivate Equity consulting experience:Candidates should have a minimum of 10+ years’ experience within a leading strategy consultancy or specialist private equity advisory firm. Experience delivering commercial due diligence, growth strategy or value creation work for private equity investors is essential.Transaction and value creation expertiseProven track record leading or supporting multiple private equity engagements including commercial due diligence, operational due diligence, portfolio growth strategy, market entry strategy or post-acquisition value creation programmes.Experience in at least one core sector such as Healthcare, Life Sciences, Consumer or RetailAbility to manage client relationships, lead project teams and contribute to business development activities. More senior candidates should demonstrate experience building client networks, originating work and supporting proposal development.Strong ability to structure complex strategic problems, conduct primary research, develop investment theses and translate insights into actionable recommendations for private equity investors and portfolio company leadership teams.The opportunityThis is an opportunity to join a rapidly expanding consulting platform focused on private equity advisory.
